In an effort to support the indigenous communities in the Andes region of Peru, MLP created Yanapana Peru. Yanapana Peru’s purpose is to reduce extreme poverty in the Andean Highlands, provide educational and health care services, and improve the quality of life in the Andean Communities along the Salkantay Route through sustainable community development. This independent, non-profit, non-government organization (NGO), has been approved by the Peruvian government and is an affiliate of a US based philanthropic non-profit 501(c)3 public charity. We´ve taken the liberty of including a US$25.00 donation per person to Yanapana Peru, which you will see reflected in the credit card charges with your deposit.
