Compared to most continental coastlines, the Peruvian coast is uniquely comprised of vast deserts that gracefully meet spectacular beaches along a 1,500 miles/2,500 kms stretch of the Pacific. In addition the world-famous Nazca Lines, Pre-Inca archaeological sites abound here, as does an abundance of fascinating marine life.
